The Eastern Michigan University men's track and field team opened the 2016-17 season today, Dec. 9, at both the Hoosier Open and the Findlay Oiler Opener. Eastern had a trio of distance runners compete in Bloomington, while a pair of heptathletes and a group of throwers competed at Findlay.
