The Mid-American Conference announced Tuesday, Feb. 10 that freshman harrier Jordann McDermitt on the Eastern Michigan University women's track and field team has been named the Indoor Track Athlete of the Week. The award marks the first weekly award for McDermitt, and it is the third honor for the team after Dace Dreimane was named Field Athlete of the Week, Jan. 27, and Victoria Voronko earned Track Athlete of the Week honors, Feb. 3.
