Though Eastern Michigan University's men's track and field team had its first taste of competition with Jan. 10's EMU Triangular, the Eagles did not show any first-day jitters as they dominated their home meet with a victory over the University of Detroit Mercy and Oakland University. The Eagles won with 155 points, followed by Detroit (69) and Oakland (42), after claiming victories in 13-of-14 events on the evening, conceding only the 3000m run to their competitors.
